Mirenesse Glamm Box January 2013 Review

With much excitement on my part my Glamm boxes arrived today.

All I can say is how extremely disappointed I am with this month after such a super December.

I ordered all three boxes which turned up in tiny boutique bags instead of the flash pink boxes like in December;

Box No. 1 - Makeup.

I received 3 products, one full-sized.

 I simply cannot see the value in this box, I received two teeny tiny samples and an eye shadow palette which I already own three of the same shade.  I also now own 10 of the Eclipse Age Defence, Mirenesse seem to send it out with everything.  I also already own the full-sized foundation.  I read on a blog that these boxes can get repetitious, I didn't think it would happen so quickly.

Box No. 2 - Mixed.

I received 4 products one full-sized.

Slightly better than box no.1 but the tubes are teeny, I am shocked anyone would pay the regular amount for a teaspoonful of product.

I was excited to receive the Lip Bomb as I hear it is similiar to OCC Lip tar, I have two tubes coming with my BB order so I will be able to compare myself and let you know.

Box No. 3 - Skin Care

I received 4 products no full-size.

Firstly, WOW I am surprised that such a small amount of eye cream can cost so much $39.00, remember 5 grams is the equivalent of 1 teaspoon, go get your measuring spoons out to see how little that really is.  I will expect absolute miracles from this little eye cream.

The mask 5 grams, one teaspoon really?  How much of your face and neck does that cover?  Certainly not enough for even one face mask.  The tube is already tiny and only half full of product.

The other two cleansers are OK and a better amount but I have already received them before.

My verdict this month is that if you haven't already ordered these boxes, DON'T.   Save your money. They just aren't worth it and I am very disappointed compared to last month, certainly not worth $45 of my own hard earned money, I feel really ripped off.

I would think if the purpose of these Glamm boxes is to help you test products and decide to purchase the full-sized items, they could be a little more generous with the sample sizes they put in the box.
