Latest iHerb Haul

Thought I would share with you some of my latest haul from iHerb.  I am so impressed with this company who deliver to Australia in approx. 8 days and the shipping costs are cheaper than what I can get in Oz.

ONE WITH NATURE ROSE PETAL SOAP ~ $3.47 per 200g bar.  These soaps are made with Dead Sea Minerals and are 100% natural.  Contains a vegetable base, dead sea salts, natural fragrance, rose petals, aloe, shea butter and vitamin E.  Gorgeous smelling huge bar of soap, mildly exfoliating, super creamy lather and leaves your skin soft and smelling subtly of roses.  I liked this soap so much when I first tried it I went back and purchased more as soon as I got out the bath!  Available in a variety of fragrances you can find them here.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

The other bar I purchased was ONE WITH NATURE BLACKBERRY PEAR same great formula and has a wonderful tarte berry aroma.  These soaps would have to be the longest lasting soaps I have ever tried.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

e.l.f. Wrinkle Refiner - clear - $2.99 ~ rich blend of wheat protein, horse chestnut, caffeine, edelweiss, chamomile, shea butter, mango and vitamins A & E, re-texurises skin and prevents further damage and premature ageing.  This is like a primer for problem areas that need a bit of extra moisturising, smoothing and plumping.  I found it easier to dab a little on and let it soak in prior to foundation, can be used during the day over makeup as needed.  Good for those under-eye creases, crows feet and smile lines, I found as it dries it tightens up your skin while leaving it moisturised.

iHerb sell a great range of e.l.f. products and you can find them here.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

GIOVANNI HOT CHOCOLATE SUGAR SCRUB $8.53 260G ~ if you love chocolate you are going to love this scrub it is just divine.  100% organic contains sugar and crushed cocoa beans, gently exfoliates your skin and leaves the most amazing aroma of chocolate.  This one is almost good enough to eat.  The price is fantastic and you can find out more about it here.  Left my skin feeling smooth and soft with a subtle smell of chocolate.  You don't need alot, I would recommend starting with about a teaspoon full and add more as you work around your body.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

BLUM NATURALS DAILY CLEANSING AND MAKEUP REMOVER TOWELETTES $5.55, 30 thick towels ~ what I like about these cleansing clothes is that they are all natural and use organic ingredients such as grape seed extract, chamomile, aloe, calendula and lemon oil.  The towelettes have a raised bumpy surface which helps exfoliate and remove every trace of makeup.  I didn't think I would ever find a product to match Wot Not Facial Wipes but these are every bit as good.   They don't sting sensitive skin or dry it out, I am really enjoying using these.  You can find out more about them here.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

HURRAW! BALM, NIGHT TREATMENT BLUE CHAMOMILE VANILLA LIP BALM $3.51, this is a repurchase for me.  All natural organic lip balm that you can apply at night for a super dose of moisturising goodness but I like to use it during the day too as I have very dry lips from being outside a great deal.  Contains Avocado, Argan, Rosehip and Meadowfoam Seed oils in a super thick balm which really stays on and does a wonderful job of moisturising your lips.  You can find out more here and see their range of lip balms here.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

EVERYDAY MINERALS JOJOBA BASE NATURAL IVORY $15.99 ~ I have been a fan of Everyday minerals for many years but stopped using their face products because they became too drying for my skin.  I thought I would try the new Jojoba base because I heard it was more moisturising for dry skin, I love it!!  I felt no drying at all and I am so excited that I can go back to using mineral face powder again.  Everyday Minerals is now available through iHerb and you can find their range of mineral powders and brushes here.

I just love iHerb and they offer quick cheap international shipping and I have never had a problem with them so recommend them highly.  All their products are high quality and you can find just about anything you need regarding health and beauty, their prices are very competitive and you would be hard pressed to find a better price especially if you are international.

Please don't forget to use this discount code TUW872 at the checkout for $5 to $10 off your first order.

Have you discovered iHerb?  Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

Lip Factory June Review

I have been subscribed to LipFactoryInc now for four months and I have NEVER been disappointed with what I have received in my monthly subscription.  6 FULL-SIZED items and 1 Sample, what's not to like?

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

Lip Factory is predominantly a Lip beauty box but there is always lots of other goodies in there too.  This month they covered face, eyes, lashes, nails and lips.

29 Reserves Moisturising lipstick SPF 20 ~ Expressive Rose ~ long lasting anti-oxidant enriched lipstick with grape seed extracts helps protect and nourish your lips.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

LondonTown Nail Lakur ~ Purple Reign ~ enhanced with vitamins and minerals this nail polish works to prevent nails from breaking, cracking and splitting.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

Manic Panic High Voltage Lip Gloss ~ Radioactive ~ Cupcake flavoured lip gloss packed with Vitamins C&E and Jojoba.  Gorgeous Cherry Red with Gold Shimmer.  This lip gloss is unique in that it has a light in the lid so that you can apply this gloss in the dark.  There is also a mirror on the side of the tube, I think it is really handy when the tubes come with a mirror.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

Manic Panic Raven Mascara ~ I love Manic Panic cosmetics, they come with the most gorgeous packaging and appeal to the Goth in all of us.

Manic Panic Raven Mascara

I have quite a few products from Manic Panic,  while they do cater to all skin tones they have a very light face powder for very pale skin ~ Anemic ~ which I just love.  Sets your makeup without leaving a white powdery residue and doesn't dry out your skin.  I look forward to trying this mascara and will be doing a review on all the Manic Panic cosmetics I own very soon.

Manic Panic ~ Anemic

Essence Volumising Lash Powder ~ This is a completely new product for me, it is suppose to volumise your lashes and give you a false eyelash look.  First you apply mascara, while it is still tacky apply the powder and then seal with more mascara.  I will certainly play around with this product and let you know what I think.  If anyone has used this product or a product like it please leave a comment below and let me know what you think.  UPDATE:  Ok I tried this powder and it was as I suspected made my eyes incredibly itchy and watery.  The fibres go absolutely everywhere.  I didn't notice any difference in the volume or length of my lashes and I have a feeling that the mascara you use to do the second coat is going to end up thick and unusable as you introduce more fibres back into the tube because they stick to the mascara brush.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

Befine Exfoliating Cleanser ~ Brown Sugar, Sweet Almond and Oats ~ sounds almost good enough to eat!  Sample size facial exfoliator which gently scrubs away dead skin cells while hydrating your skin.

Colour U Cosmetics Loose Shadows ~ Turquoise ~ loose mineral eye dust, can be used for a subtle or dramatic eye look.. I just love the shade I received.  My photo just doesn't do justice to the green/blue shimmer that runs through this powder, it's like a mermaid's tail.  UPDATE:  This is a beautiful blue/green metallic eye shadow, I thought it would be too glittery for me but it does apply metallic and you can build up the colour to suit your needs.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

I love EVERYTHING I received this month.  Besides the great products  Lip Factory introduce to us every month, I find it very important that all their products are Cruelty Free which shows this is a company that cares what goes into their boxes.

If you would like to try this box for yourself it is US$22 per month and you can subscribe here. Be aware that if you are an international subscriber there is a extra shipping fee, it costs an extra $10 to ship to Australia but I think that is still well worth it for the amount of products you receive.

I have a reference code you can use is you subscribe to Lip Factory 38376, new subscribers receive 50pts which can be put towards purchasing items from the shop.

Favourite Bellabox items repurchased

When I went to leave feedback for the items I received in June's BB box (you can read my review here).  I noticed that I had now been subscribed to BB for over 13 months and I was looking through all the items I had received in the past year (which is listed in your BB account) and I thought it would be nice to do a blog on all my favourite products that were introduced to me through Bellabox.

These are all products that I have gone on to re-purchase full-size and are now a part of my beauty routine.

www.purefiji.com

1.   PURE FIJI HYDRATING BODY LOTION ~  MAY 2012Coconut ~ this is a luxurious body lotion made with coconut milk which smells divine, if you can't go to a tropical island you can at least bring a little of it home with you.  I have since visited the Pure Fiji website  (they do ship internationally) and purchased several more of their wonderful products.   I love ALL their infusions but my favourites would have to be Coconut, Island Bliss and Coconut Milk & Honey.

2.   NEUTROGENA AGELESS INTENSIVES DEEP WRINKLE EYE CREAM ~ JULY 2012 ~ this is my all time favourite eye cream and I am about to open my second tube.  One tube will last you approx. a year with constant daily use, you can read my mini reviews here and here.

3.   ALMAY GET UP AND GROW MASCARA ~ JULY 2012 ~ definitely one of my favourite mascaras of all time, I have purchased this mascara in black and brown shades about four times now, you can read my mini review here.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

4.   emerginC SCIENTIFIC ORGANICS phytocell cream ~ AUGUST 2012 ~ this is quite an expensive facial moisturiser, $105 for 50ml but if you can purchase it on sale or use your BB points like I did, it is worth the extra money.  Shop around you can usually find it reduced, on sale or comes with a GWP.  Contains concentrated Grape Stem Cells designed to revitalise, renew and protect skin.  Seaweed extract promotes cellular metabolism to re-balance and re-mineralise your skin.  Improves skin tone and texture and is extremely hydrating.  I love the smell (slightly orange citrus) and the thickness of this cream, my skin just drinks it up and it leaves my face looking hydrated and plump, my skin looks and feels great after using this cream.

5.   4ME NAIL POLISH REMOVER PADS ~ NOVEMBER 2012 ~ these are the greatest little nail polish removers, very convenient for travelling.   Acetone and alcohol free, conditions your nails and cuticles as it removes your polish.   They are great for wrapping around an orange stick and cleaning up around your cuticles.  I have repurchased these several times, you get 30 pre-soaked pads for $3.49 and they are available here.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

6.   AURORA SPA ULTRA RICH BODY CREAM ~ JANUARY 2013 ~ this is a more expensive body moisturiser but so worth it.  It is just as the name suggest ULTRA RICH and if your skin is thirsty and dry it's gonna love it, I know mine does.  It is available at the Aurora Spa website and I think if you suffer from very dry skin like I do especially in winter you need to treat yourself to some.  Contains Shea Butter, Macadamia,  Lavender, Sandalwood, Geranium, Grape, Carrot and Olive oils.  Has a wonderful botanical smell and just makes you feel good.  Available in 200ml and 500ml.

7.   FACE OF AUSTRALIA COLOUR MAX EYESHADOW PALETTE ~ JANUARY 2013 ~ Gold Mine ~  I really like Face of Australia Cosmetics, their products are all very reasonably priced and they are good quality cosmetics that last.  I received Gold Mine which is a palette of four brown/gold/nude highly pigmented shades with a choice of matte, satin and shimmer finishes making this palette great for day and night.  Comes with a very useful HOW TO on the back of the palette.

Gold Mine

I went to Priceline and purchased the remaining two palette variations,  - Mercury Rising - Smoky Eye & Northern Lights - Purple.

Mercury Rising  &  Northern Lights

8.   NATIO PURE MINERAL SKIN PERFECTING BB CREAM ~ JANUARY 2013 ~ of all the western BB creams this would have to be my favourite, I have repurchased for myself and my Mum.  Has that great NATIO botancial aroma, leaves my skin looking great, doesn't break me out and the colour doesn't fade or melt off my face in summer.  I tend to steering away from foundation and sticking to BB cream these days, less is more, and this cream looks more natural.  Available in 3 shades, Fair, Medium and Tan.  You can read more of my mini review and see a swatch of fair here.  If you would like to read more visit Natio here.

9.   NUXE HUILE PRODIGIEUSE ~ Multi-purpose oil ~ FEBRUARY 2013 ~ If I was only allowed to bring one product to a desert island this would be it.  This multi-purpose dry oil can be used to moisturise your face, body and hair.  Makes a very relaxing massage oil or add some salt to the oil and use it to exfoliate your body.  Great for travelling if you can only take a minimum amount of skincare with you, because it replaces the need for several products.  With its wonderful aroma of orange blossom, plum, white lily, amber, vanilla and cedar wood this oil  can be used as an all over body perfume or just a hint of scent on your pulse points.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

10.  SALLY HANSEN COMPLETE SALON MANICURE  ~ FEBRUARY 2013 ~ I received the shade  GOLDEN RULE and you can read my full review and see photos here.  I have gone on to purchase several different shades from the range at Priceline, I find the formula is easy to apply,  long lasting and with some of the polishes you can get away with one coat.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

11.   YES TO CARROTS C ME SHINE LIP GLOSS ~ MARCH 2013 ~ Rose Bliss ~ Almost a clear frosty thick peppermint gloss, what I like about the YES TO range is they are 95% organic.  I have since purchased another tube in the shade Carrot's Kiss which is more of a pink shade, doesn't add a lot of colour but I prefer a nude glossy lip anyway.  It is the moisturising qualities of this gloss I like the most, no dryness and it stays on your lips for a long time, looks great over lipstick.  I love YES TO lip products and own quite a few you can read my mini review on the C ME BLUSH Lip Tints here.

12.   INDIO FACIAL SCRUB ~ APRIL 2013 ~ this would have to be my all time favourite exfoliant.  Very gentle and leaves my skin soft with no dryness or irritation.   If you have sensitive skin prone to redness and irritation I highly recommend you try this scrub.  You can read my mini review here.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

13.  CEDEL DRY CONDITIONER  APRIL 2013 ~ I was expecting this to be like the Dry Shampoo,  a spray formula which moisturised your hair.  Now while I am NOT a big fan of dry shampoo this is just a moisturising mousse cream which is surprisingly good. Can be applied to wet or dry hair, helps untangle and de-frizz and doesn't make your hair greasy or weigh it down.

14.  NATIO NAIL COLOUR ~ JUNE 2013 ~ Valentine ~ Natio Nail Colour is free of formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate, fast drying and chip resistant. Gorgeous shade that needs two coats as it is a little sheer, I went out and purchased a couple more shades today, I really like the formula and the brush.

Valentine  -  one coat  -  two coats
matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

Described as a classic red,  the first coat has a real pink tinge to it and then the second coat brings out the red.  You can find all the shades available on the NATIO website, or you can purchase them from Priceline. I went and purchased ADORE & EXCITE today at Priceline.

ADORE  &  EXCITE

So that is what Bellabox has introduced me too, which I have loved enough to go out and repurchase.  I would love to know what products Bellabox has introduced you too and you have repurchased in the last year, please leave a comment below or better yet I would love to see you blog about it.

If you would love to try Bellabox for yourself please visit their website here and purchase a monthly subscription for $15 per month.

Crushed pearl formulation, vitamin E and a never sticky or dry sheen.  Perfect pout protector as well as a glam gloss for nights out.  Mmmmm smells like Bubblegum!

EMERGINC VITAMIN C+RETINOL MASK - sample - RRP$65 for 50ml & EMERGINC HYPER-VITALIZER CREAM - sample - RRP$99 for 50ml

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

I love the EmerginC brand, I know they are expensive but so worth it, I look out for EmerginC when they are on sale.  I haven't tried this mask and cream yet so I am excited to see what they are like.  I love love love the EmerginC Organics range.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

TONI&GUY HAIR MEET WARDROBE CREATIVE TEXTURISING GLUE - fullsize - RRP$15.99 for 100ml.

Apparently this is good for definition and control.  Helps with all those little fly aways, I have long hair so will try this when I braid or put my hair up, if I like it I will let you know.  It has an interesting texture, just a thick white cream a little sticky to the touch, I was expecting it to be a gel.

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

MONTAGNE JEUNESSE PASSION PEEL OFF MASK - sample - RRP$3.99 for 10ml - I love peel off masques, I really have to control myself so they dry first, I'm a picker!!

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

SIMPLE KIND TO SKIN CLEANSING FACIAL WIPES - sample - RRP$6.99 per 25 - this would have to be the least exciting thing in my BB box this month, I am pretty well sold on WotNot Facial wipes but these are a handy size just to slip in your handbag so they won't go to waste.

CIRCA HOME - EVERYDAY SOAP - VANILLA & COCOA BUTTER - RRP$9.95 for 125g bar - I am already familiar with these soaps and I love them.  Good heavy bar which lasts and lasts and they all smell wonderful, I haven't tried the Vanilla one yet so looking forward to my bath tonight!

BONUS NATIO NAIL COLOUR - VALENTINE - RRP$9.95 - this nail polish is linked to a competition where you can win a Black Diamond Ring valued at $500 if you enter a photo of your manicure using this nail polish.

I would have to say I am really impressed with this month's box, 3 full sized items + a bonus full sized nail polish.  The box was packed and very heavy, I was very excited when I pulled this out of the mail box this afternoon, I knew it would be a good box.

Bellabox ARE the best of all the beauty boxes available and I would highly recommend them to anyone who would like to try a monthly subscription for only $15.

Please visit their website here for details.

Violet Box June 2013

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

I have only just received my Violet Box today and there are no surprises in it because it is exactly the same as what everyone else received, days ago.  I am not inclined to review it because I am not impressed with Violet Box's first effort, there is nothing that jumped out at me and said YES I WANT TO RUSH OUT AND BUY THIS.

Violet Box claim to offer their customers "a surprise mix of beauty products of the latest and greatest beauty products on the market" all for $22.95 per month.  If this box appeals to you, you can find out more here.

3 full-sized products was great to see but I just wasn't impressed with the items, it's not a good box if the products aren't usable or interesting to the customer.

Any box with AVENE in it is one Avene product too much, can't stand the stuff.  Just a side note VB, if you ever get offered samples of dry shampoo to add to your box PLEASE DON'T GO THERE!  I already have a life time supply of dry shampoo and Avene!

I hate perfume samples in boxes they are just a cop out.   I have been sent the CK Sheer Beauty sample in another box and my opinion of it hasn't changed I don't like it, smells like aftershave.  In fact there were way too many Calvin Klein products (2) in this box for me, how about some other brands one of each will suffice?

What am I going to do with a CK Gloss Eyecolor gold glittery eye pencil that fades away to nothing?   It's that sheer, no colour pay off at all, just disco ball glitter.

The Clear mascara, OK but nothing special, not something I would repurchase or probably purchase to begin with.  A coloured one would have been more useful. Supposedly you can use it to tame unruly eyebrows.  UPDATE, totally useless mascara, leaves white streaks on your eyebrows and flakes, left my eyelashes clumpy and wet looking.

Argan Oil just makes me go ARGHHHHHH!  Tired of the stuff.

John Plunkett is a chemist brand hardly a LUXE item and I thought Violet Box were going to up the ante in the beauty box business sigh......  It really is just more of the same as the other beauty boxes and VB are the most expensive to subscribe too!!

I will give them one more month and if July's box isn't better I will be un-subscribing.  For all VB's build up towards their launch this June, this box is boring and offers nothing new.

In my opinion the only beauty box worth subscribing too is BellaBox and they do it for $15 a month.

Please don't forget to enter my ICON India Hair Care Giveaway you could win a gorgeous hair care pack for yourself by simply following my blog and leaving a comment here.

Lust Have It June 2013

Well....if I was disappointed in last month's LHI box it's nothing to the way I am feeling about this month.

I received 5 sample-sized products from a company who increased their subscription cost from $14.95 to $19.95 and promised bigger better boxes with more full-sized items.

This month I received

Rachel K Mineral Color Control CC Cream - 4 samples sachets ~ I received these in my April box, they were actullay missing from my box and I received them later.  I can't even use these because they are the wrong shade. I use the Black Original for pink-toned skin, the Pink samples are for yellow-toned skin, it doesn't work on me.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry - Oh God if I receive one more can of useless Dry Shampoo I think I might actually scream!!

Pure Fiji Hydrating Body Lotion - I have a ton of this moisturiser, I don't need to sample any more, I'm already sold thanks.  It says on the card I was suppose to receive Ocean Mist but I received Coconut, at least Ocean Mist would have been something different!

Real Purity Lipstick sample with a cheap useless disposable brush - Un-hygienic sample pot.  Don't wear Red too pale and thanks for the cheap brush helped me make up my mind NEVER to purchase CROWN Brushes.

Doctor Babor DERMA CELLULAR Collagen Booster Cream - Who in their right mind spends $249 on a moisturiser?  Please take the time to read how your skin absorbs moisturiser and how deep it REALLY gets into the layers of skin,  NOT as deep as they describe for this to work.  These creams don't work and you are wasting a considerable amount of money if you purchase this.

This month is the pinnacle of all that is WRONG with Lust Have It and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a worthwhile beauty box to try elsewhere, this is just a waste of your money.

In fact I'm thinking of asking for a refund.

I have noticed that LHI are also giving some bloggers a discount code to use on their blog to entice new customers with a $5 off your first box.  Maybe LHI should just lower the prices of their boxes to the original $14.95 per month because they are certainly NOT worth the $19.95 they are charging now.  In fact the boxes have got worse not better since the price increase.

Now for something more worthwhile, don't forget to enter my giveaway for some fantastic ICON India hair care products, all you need to do is follow me and leave a comment, open to Australian Residents only.  Enter here.

My Napoleon Perdis Haul

I thought I would share with you the Napoleon Perdis Haul I recently purchased from David Jones Online.  I don't think you get the largest selection online to choose from compared to walking into a David Jones store but there was enough for me to add this fantastic GWP to my cart.

www.davidjones.com.au

Purchase $79 or more and receive a 7 piece make up gift valued at $200, the offer is available until the 23rd June online or instore.

~ Prismatic Eye Shadow Quad
~ Lip Lacquer
~ China Doll Eyeliner
~ Mosaic Powder - Gleamer
~ Travel Size Gold Long Black Mascara
~ Makeup Shakeup Lesson Card
~ Blue Ostrich Print Tote

Now they say you get a choice of 3 bags with three different colour combinations.  I thought I had chosen the brown eyeshadow collection shown in the photo above but received the blue eyeshadow collection instead.

I purchased a Mosaic Powder Bronzer and Mosaic Powder Blush to qualify for the GWP.

Bronzer  ~  Blusher  ~  Gleamer

I used all three of these Mosaics yesterday and I have to say I LOVE THEM!!  Highly pigmented, Matte Bronzer and Blush,  the Gleamer has a slight sheen, no sparkle, you only need a little, they are all buildable and the colour stays all day.  I didn't need to refresh my makeup at any time during the day, no fading.  I will say for my pale skin the bronzer and blush went on a little dark but it was easy to buff out and achieve the tone I was looking for.  Well pleased with these.

This is the Prismatic Eye Quad #3 I received.

www.matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

I was not too happy I received the blue/grey/charcoal at first because I don't wear these shades normally but I did wear them yesterday and was quite happy with the result.  It's always good to try something new outside your safety zone, you might surprise yourself!.  I was quite impressed with the staying power of this shadow, the colour stayed fresh all day, there was no fading or creasing.

www.matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

The Lip Lacquer ~ Shameless Nude ~ is a very pretty pink rose gold slightly holographic shade in the tube but gave me no colour benefit once on the lips.  It is very thick and sticky and I found it extremely hard to apply.  When I tried to apply it as a gloss over my lipstick it took all the lipstick off.  Best used on its own for a glossy juicy look.  Because it is thick and sticky it stays on well until you have something to eat or drink and then the whole lot just disappears.  Can't say I am too impressed with this lip lacquer.

www.matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

The Gold Long Black Mascara ~ travel size,  I didn't like at all.  It was thick and just made all my eyelashes stick together, I don't know if I got a bad sample but based on that I would not go out and purchase the full size item.  If anyone has a positive review of this mascara I would love to hear from you.

www.matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

The following product I haven't tried yet as I don't wear eyeliner but it is a very pretty Teal.

www.napoleonperdis.com

China Doll Eye Liner ~ Teal

I loved the big roomy bag all my goodies came in, I will certainly get some use out of it, usually the bags that come with these GWP's are awful but this one is really nice.

There was also a card for a makeup lesson but I live too far away from the city to be able to ever benefit from it.

I was very happy with the quality of most the cosmetics I received and I definitely think this offer was good value.

What do you think?   Have you purchased this offer or tried NP for yourself?   Please let me know by leaving a comment below.

I.C.O.N. INDIA Hair-Yurvedics Hair Care Review & Giveaway ***CLOSED***

I was recently contacted by Salon Cosmetics whom have just launched the I.C.O.N.  Hair-Yurvedics Hair Care Range in Australia and asked if I would like to try their new range INDIA.

INDIA hair care incorporates Ayurvedic Principles that not only make your hair look good but use the healing qualities of Moringa Oil ~ restores strength & adds lustre, Argan Oil ~ to nourish and revitalise and the exotic fragrance of Amber.  The women of India have used these oils to heal for centuries.  Based on ancient practices  I.C.O.N have now combined these ingredients to help transform your hair back to luxuriously silky, manageable, radiant health and shine.

I received an INDIA Travel Pack which contained the following 4 products;

INDIA Shampoo ~ Gently cleanses your hair while strengthening and smoothing the hair shaft.

INDIA Conditioner ~ Helps heal and treat your hair from the inside, promotes healthy growth and adds shine.

INDIA Healing Spray ~ This is a leave-in treatment which fortifies each strand with Aloe leaf to soothe and Quinoa (natural protein) which promotes hair repair by reversing damage, strengthening and binding moisture.

INDIA Oil ~ Strengthens, detangles and adds shine

I have been using these products for over a week now and I would have to say I am in love with this brand.  I have long hair which needs a lot of care and I was really impressed by how my hair immediately responded to these products.

The Shampoo leaves your hair feeling silky soft, it is a pearlised cream which you just massage through and rinse clean.  I could really feel the difference as there was no tangled dry feeling, this is the first shampoo I have ever used where I felt my hair was noticeably smoother without the use of conditioner.

The Conditioner I was really impressed with because I found I didn't need to use as much (same amount as the shampoo) to coat my hair.  Extremely emollient, I just massaged it through my ends and worked my way up to my scalp.  I left it on a few minutes and rinsed.  The test of a good conditioner for me is when you comb your hair and the comb just glides through, that was what I experienced with this conditioner, silky, soft, manageable hair.

The Healing Spray would have to be my favourite product, after towel drying my hair, I sprayed a few squirts into my palm and gently massaged through my hair.  This is a light emulsified oil which treats and conditions your hair without leaving a heavy oily mess.  I have fine hair but lots of it and usually oil-based products leave my hair limp and over-saturated.

The Oil I used just on the ends of my hair for a little extra moisture and protection, I found the healing spray was enough extra condition for my fine hair.

Overall I found using all these products together PERFECT for my hair.  My hair looks and feels silky and glossy, I noticed my hair remained in good condition between washes (3 days), there were no tangles, knots or frizz and my hair remained luxuriously soft and shiny. I received compliments from friends and family wanting to know what I had done to my hair and I was very happy to tell them.   This is the FIRST complete hair care system where I have loved ALL the products not just one or two.

The musky smell of AMBER is carried through the entire range and would have to be one of my favourite perfumes, a very subtle yet provocatively sensual aroma.  There is definitely something very exotic about this range and I recommend you try it for yourself.
