All I will say is I can't wait for my subscription to end in May. I have been unhappy with LHI for a while now and feel like a captive audience, they have my money for twelve months and can basically send me crap and that is what they have been doing.

$20 a month for teeny tiny unmatched samples which don't suit my profile and are only good for the rubbish. LHI never came good on their promise with the price rise to give bigger better luxe samples.
Now we don't even get a box just a tiny plastic parcel bag of bubble wrap. My husband took one look and said " That is so unprofessional, what the hell are you paying for? Very cheap and nasty."

KLARA Kiss Proof Lips - sample size - Hot Pink - I can't wear this crap, do they EVER send out normal useable shades?
Bloom Secret Weapon Conealer Kit - medium/dark - sigh..... another mismatched item, I am FAIR, really FAIR. Doesn't matter I don't wear concealer anyway.
ORLY Nail Polish - Cosmic Kiss - sample - everyone else received some really pretty shades, I got glitter!!
AVEDA Intensive Hydrating Masque - teeny tiny sample of useless - there is not enough product in this tube to try anything! I have said it before and I will say it again, if a company can't be bothered to hand out generous useable samples, I won't bother purchasing their products. Aveda samples are not worth the tubes they come in.
Gatineau - Refreshing Melting Scrub - sample - another exfoliator
Recoverlyte Powder - I think this is a drink you are suppose to make up after a hard night out. If LHI need to add these to their pathetic little selections maybe they should lay off the booze and put more energy into spending my money and giving me something useful and interesting each month.
Total rip-off and the boxes are just getting worse.

I received the same box you did but I got the gold glitter nail polish. The bottle's cute but I don't use glitter nail polish. I didn't realize until later that night that the concealer kit was in medium/dark which I'm not sure I'll get any use out of as I have very fair skin. I was rapt when I first saw the bright pink lipstick until I tried it on... Pink has always been my colour, and I'm pretty much happy with any shade of pink, but this colour is very bright and too matte. I wiped it off and applied a lip gloss over the stain and it's passable but I'd never purchase this. I know where you're coming from, and I'm starting to feel like Lust Have it are following in the footsteps of Bellabox - shame that! Next months box is the last in my subscription and I haven't renewed.
ReplyDeleteBummer! Why on earth did they stop boxes and send everything in bubblewrap? They could have at least changed to bags like Ipsy. And the samples are tiny and rofl, a hangover cure powder?
ReplyDeleteYep that's what they suggested make up the drink after a hard night on the drink, laughable really and low class. xx
ReplyDeleteI did try to opt out of my subscription some months ago but they wouldn't let me :( I will never subscribe to an annual beauty box again, LHI have become very slack. xx
ReplyDeleteMy first was "EVERYTHING's TINYYYY", definitely not worth $20..... :/ I'm thinking about the wantable box, but my wallet's disagreeing. I'm not sure what to do with my powder sample... maybe give it to someone lining up for a nightclub...
ReplyDeleteLol lol..............Lily I could just see you offering up your powder drink at a Nite Club. Oh Dear thanks for the laugh I needed that!! Big Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteEverything is TINY this month!! I agree that tiny samples will NEVER entice me into purchasing a full size product, I want to be able to see results!! I got the bright pink lippie too.. won't see much loving from me... overall a pretty 'meh' box for me xo
ReplyDeletenice, all these products are new to me :) is great!

LHI are really hitting rock bottom, all I'm waiting on now is the Eco Box I sure hope it has a better selection xx
ReplyDeleteHow upsetting that the majority of your box is no good! Its a shame they don't seem to pay attention to beauty profiles. The powder sachet seems like a joke...one flimsy sachet and also...it has no place in a beauty box!
ReplyDeleteThe Recoverlyte shows the mentality of the business and the drinking culture we should be discouraging in Australia. LHI have NEVER taken on the feedback of its members about the lack of profiling in their boxes. xx
ReplyDeleteI received a glitter nail polish and Chapstick and bloom eye definer
ReplyDeleteEverything else is the same otherwise
If it was me I would have been so ashamed of sending a package like this
Can't get over with this months useless package its still sitting on my study table
Anyways I did a review aswell lol
I don't think LHI care what they send out these days xx
ReplyDeleteThanks xx
