Bellabox November 2013

matillysthisnthat.blogspot.com.au

Bellabox Pout Pencil - Pinky Promise - cheap ole made in china rubbish with the Bellabox name printed on the tube, broken and melted.  Certainly not worth the RRP$14.99.

Simple Kind to Eyes Makeup Correction Pen - RRP$11.99 - Simple is a brand made for sensitive skin, I look forward to trying this as I always smudge my mascara.

ASAP - Face Cleanser & Night Cream - teeny tiny samples, I don't know why they bother, I would never purchase a product based on this little amount of product.

LA ROCHE-POSAY'S Uvidea XL BB melt in cream - teeny tiny sample of BB cream in the wrong shade. I received dark, I am Caspar White.  I don't know how many time I have to remind BB of this.

AVEENO Daily Body Moisturiser - sample size - I have received this about three times before, hardly new or exciting, Yawn......

Oh and the bonus this month - a sachet of Bump Eraser Medi Paste - woo hoo!!

That's it, nothing exciting, more face wash, more moisturiser, a mis-matched tone BB cream, a broken melted lip crayon, and the only item of any interest the make up remover pen.

Note to BB, the new packaging is crap and arrived broken and damaged.  I am surprised I didn't lose any of my samples, not that they would have been missed, I'm not even going to ask for a replacement of the lip crayon.

  1. Sad to see the box is gone and now replaced with the new packaging. I loved the original packaging. Wow, this box wasn't great, I hope they bring out better "boxes" in future!

  2. Wow, what a disappointing box. I havent' liked any beauty box owned products other than LHI's brushes - they were ok.

  4. Thanks Lily, I was very disappointed with this box, way below what they usually bring out. I have been so busy with assignments and end of year school activities, it has been really hectic!!

  6. I received the exact same box as you did but my Lip Pencil arrived in good condition and is the perfect colour for me. The La Roche-Posay Uvidea XL BB Melt-In BB cream was missing from my box and after emailing Bellabox they offered me a replacement which I was happy about. I've seen that everyone who got this box got this product expect for me. Now they're telling me I wasn't supposed to get this product and it was a mistake on my card. They included a PDF attachment with the listed contents of my 'supposed' box which is not the one I received. What a joke! I'm so over Bellabox!

  7. The packaging is pretty useless and the reason I believe that so many of the Lip Pencils sent out were damaged. They should bring back the original boxes that were more sturdy and less prone to damage. My outer box was crushed but I was lucky that the contents were fine.

  8. I hate the new packaging, the old packaging protected from heat a fair bit and I think that is why a lot of peoples lip crayons melted and fell out. My outer box was split and the inner box crushed I was half expecting to find my contents gone. I hope you emailed them about your supposed box you were suppose to receive that's ridiculous. I am so over all the beauty boxes :(

  9. The only good thing about the packaging is it is easier to throw away I could never bring myself to throw out those boxes and now they're piled up against a wall lol.............

Oh gosh! That packaging looks so flimsy! Comparing all the boxes on the market, I've always seen BB as the bottom on the list, I think the products they include can easily be purchased by everyone from the shops so its not something as new and exciting as other boxes present.

  12. I have quite a collection of boxes as well. A friend of mine recently suggested that I enquire at the local pre school and kindergarten to check if they could be of any use to them. Maybe they could be used for storage of small items or the kiddies could use them in other ways.

Wow! Mine was pretty different to yours, mine arrived in a makeup bag but the pout pencil was still melted and broken. Sorry to hear about your box :(

  14. I don't know how many emails have gone back and forth between myself and Bellabox. I got another one today with another PDF attachment that states exactly what should be in my box (which is what is on my card) and yet further down in the email they've itemized the products and now tell me I shouldn't have received the Aveeno sample and that it was a misprint which conflicts with what the attachment states. They asked me if I got the La-Roche Posay BB Cream (which I've explained in every email ) is the item missing. Omg, I don't know how to get through to them! I just emailed them again explaining what I'd previously explained and told them not to worry about it as I'm sick and tired of the ongoing emails which are getting me nowhere. I know there is an item missing and they have given me two different reasons to try and explain away the mistake. In other words, I'm not going to get my missing item.

  15. I would have preferred the bag I think. My box was crushed and everything was loose in the outer box and there were great big gaps and it was crushed too. Surprised I didn't lose anything.

  16. I sent a complaint to them a couple of months ago, they refused to replace an item that was damaged and told me they were cancelling my subscription, it was really really rude. I wrote a stinging reply back and they apologised. I don't know what is going on with them.

  17. My husband is the Platoon Commander of our local Cadet Unit, he finds them very useful for storing hat badges, rank slides, patches etc............

That sucks! I'm glad I got the makeup bag too by the sounds of it. Hopefully they sort their packaging out. I don't think it's fair that some get a makeup bag and others get a cardboard pillow box though.

  19. Their customer service skills are seriously lacking and they need to get their act together. I've seen a big change in Bellabox since I first subscribed 18 months ago and I'm starting to think that maybe they're getting too big and too busy to care about their loyal customers anymore. Who knows?! My December box will definitely be my last! They emailed me back last night and told me my missing item will be in the mail in 2 weeks. Seriously? I really don't care anymore! lol

  20. For that sort of thing they would be excellent storage boxes!

  21. I think they're using up all their old stock including boxes and bags, trialling the new envelopes which are useless. The items in the box were certainly repetitive from over the year.

  22. I have a feeling they have had a change in management because I don't think they are as good as they were and I have noticed new names on the emails.

  23. That's possible... I thought that maybe they were getting so popular due to all the advertising I've seen (in newspaper lift out magazines and NW) that they had employed more staff. I too noticed some unfamiliar names on the emails and it seemed that someone new would respond to my email issue about the missing item without reading what I'd previously sent that had been handled by someone else. I believe that was the cause of all the confusion about the missing item from my box.
